General strikes are the norm in Athens for many years now. Within the Greek crisis, the narrative of a mythical indigeneity that draws a straight, clean line from Parthenon to today is still the superglue of the troubled Greek society. It is therefore only natural that the policy of one of the most powerful, neoliberal radio stations in Greece during media strikes, is to repeatedly transmit a series of radio shows about ancient Greece. The last dance consists of a text reading & a video documenting a performance that is already done. It is a semi- improvised, semi-planned solitary car performance, switching radio stations on a media strike night in Athens, while driving home after work.
