2013 – 2017, ongoing project

A series of photographs, paintings and texts documenting propaganda rhetoric and imagery of the major two Greek juntas (1936-40 & 1967-74) and the ways they resonate with the transformations of the political in Greece today. The images presented here originate from the propaganda films regarding the massive public infrastructure works (“Έργα” in Greek), carried out and instrumentalised by the 1967 regime.
